7 ways to overcome your natural fear of public speaking



In life everyone has fear of something whether it could be debt, height, or injection etc. Most of us have fear of public speaking, because they think that they'll be judged by their audience and how they will react to your performance.

Due to it most of us try to skip from that, because we are really nervous to face the audience. Some of you also get blank that what to say.

Following are the few steps to came over it.

 

1.  Believe in yourself:

The first thing you need to do is to believe in yourself about what you're going to do. If you start to believe in yourself, so you'll be more confident about what you're saying.

 Most of you are really nervous to face the audience, it is because you don't believe in yourself and due to it you can't calm your mind, due to which you forget that what you were presenting.

To believe in yourself you must have faith that you can easily face the audience and you're the best in presenting yourself. If you have any weak point start working on it to make it possible.

Furthermore, change your words from ''I can't'' to ''how can I do this'' and start to think that its's so easy to do that. Speak with confident that you know what you're doing.

 

2. Consider your audience as Robot:

Start to consider your audience as a robot so you'll have more faith in yourself and your heart and mind will understand that those people are just robot and they don't have feelings or brain to react, as if they judge you it doesn't even matter to you because they aren't real people.

It will also make you feel that you are the leader of those robots.

You should think that every single character that is watching you are robot, seeing them as a human will make us more nervous rather than seeing them as robot.

Start to follow that theory and you'll have so much dedication in yourself to face to audience as robot. Believe me it's going to help you a lot.

 

3. Practice in front of mirror:


Talking to yourself in the mirror will build confidence in yourself. You will get deep feeling by seeing yourself in a mirror and it will make you feel that you are talking to someone. Use mirror to improve your style of speaking and practice until you are good at it.

When I was in school, I had stage fright so I used to skip the day from school whenever it was my presentation day and I knew that it is not the right thing to skip the presentation.

You are not the only one who has fear to face this problem, there are many other people than you who had face this anxiety. So, they have practice enough to get over it.

Your brain is your main asset if you think that how can you put this knowledge in your actions so it's going to give you enormous result.

Nobody is good in their first attempt, all they do is practice, practice and practice to achieve it. If you do not practice in that field that you want to achieve, so believe me you can't achieve it.
